Write down your feelings – keep a diary( it can be useful to look back on)

“Cut and paste” or “Cut and delete” negative feelings

Look for support,talk to others (especially other carers)

Listen to music

Dance – can be in the house,dance while you dust!

Exercise ( you can do this while doing chores or sitting down/in bed)

Remember to laugh and joke

Take a break ( can be 10 minutes)

Use a “primal scream” – shout into the boot of your car
