Carers Northumberland provides a range of support to carers, regardless of the circumstances in which they care, and is able to work alongside Care Managers to respond to a Carers Needs Assessment, offering information and services to improve outcomes for carers.
A carer is someone who looks after a family member, partner or friend in need of help because they are ill, frail or have a disability and the care they provide is unpaid. There are an estimated 35,697 carers living in Northumberland.

Carers Northumberland can help you support carers more effectively, by providing information, advice, signposting and support services that meet the needs of carers in the county.
