How to live with being challenged
Who is it for? Parents and family carers who love and care for an adult (18+) with a learning disability, who sometimes find themselves feeling stressed.
What is it? A taster workshop leading to a course (4 further sessions). It’s free and is being delivered as part of a NHS research project looking at ways to support family carers.
Learning new ways to manage stress.
Understanding the things that challenge us and the impact they have. Exploring difficult feelings and ways to cope with them.
When? Starting on Thursday 28th September from 10am till 2pm. We will let you know dates and times of the other follow up sessions when we meet you.
