Approximately 1 in 8 adults in the UK have caring responsibilities for someone who is ill, frail or has a disability. Therefore it is likely that a number of your employees will be carers. This means that they are juggling work with what can be a challenging, stressful and time-consuming caring role outside of work and often need some support and understanding from their employer.
